Craving Sweet

What is it about sugar, coffee and pretty much everything that is simply terrible for us that is so appealing? What is it that makes me continue eating something, even when I know it's going to give me a stomach ache later? Our minds and bodies can become so out of sync sometimes. HAHA. Just to kinda make sure everyone is nice and hungry, I'm going to talk about some of my greatest sins:

  • Starbucks Coffee. Ya, there's just no way to go wrong there! Ever!
  • Jamba Juice. Now, I know that you're thinking this doesn't belong on the list and you're correct, but it's so worth mentioning, because it's just amazing. I've been trying to subsitute my coffee drinking days with Jamba, but it hasn't been working so far. I just get so exhausted if I don't have my coffee each day. Is there anyone else out there that just completely addicted to caffeine. I started drinking when I was about 14, and I wish I could take it back!
  • Cake/Pi
    e. My latest obsession has been whipped cream. I like to put it on absolutely everything: cake, pie, cookies, chocolate. If you have any other ideas for me, please let me know. Silly, I know, but it's just so yummy
I really think a lot of people eat sweets to make up for something going on in their lives. For my, dealing with so much lately. I guess I find it comforting. And, I know you're probably thinking I am overweight, but I really am not. I'm 20 years old and extremely skinny. I'm not sure how, but it works for me, so all is good.

I feel really bad for the people out there who aren't able to eat the way I do, because they gain weight. I mean, I, like anyone else, will gain a few pounds here or there, but I've never been overweight.

That brings me to another great topic: what do you guys think counts as overweight? When do you think it's been pushed too far and just way past the limits of what the human body can handle. If you have any stories or anything, I would be very interested!

I'm 21 and skinny too...but I blame stress for it. I was overweight growing up. Sweets are awesome. I particularly love chocolate. :)

wow, you are easily thin. I wish I could eat and not gain weight. Some people look skinner when they eat more.

kudos to you for being skinny at 20. but just wait. women's hormones fluctuate like crazy in their 20s and you never know what sweets might creep up on you later...
