About me:

I am  an independent, fun - loving person with a very positive outlook on life.

I am trying to find ways to use my time in some meaningful way as I am all alone throughout the day; we have recently moved away from our hometown and so I do not know many people here; my husband Sriram is very busy and my son who is almost 21 boards at his college; so I dont have any family here and not many friends.

Looking to meet people and make friends online; I love to read; most times you can find me with a book in my  hand; other than that I love to cook and entertain family & friends.

My favorite music - soft rock, pop ballads, and Indian classical - Carnatic. As a child I used to sing, but these days I strictly sing for my own enjoyment and that too mostly devotional music.

I also enjoy going to the movies, though we watch only English movies; we cannot tolerate the typical Tamil or Hindi movies with their song & dance routines and comedy tracks:( I also spend a lot of time watching Discovery Channel, NGC, sports etc. other than Drama series and sitcoms.

I am happiest when surrounded by family; especially I miss my son something terrible these days.

My other interests are travel and shopping. People say I have a good eye for what suits whom and I am routinely asked to accompany people in our family & friends circle whenever they are shopping for a wedding or special occasions. :(

As I dropped out of college after getting married at 19, I am now doing my graduation in English Lit.

I am a staunch devotee of Shirdi SaiBaba and have had many miracles happen in my own life through His Blessings.
